Jazz Inside's Bi-Monthly Jazz Education Workshop includes an incisive feature by guitarist Chuck Anderson, "On Practice", Dariusz Terefenko "Just One of Those Things" on improvisation, Dave Miele on "Philly Joe Jones: Oleo", Dimitry Ekshtut on "Intermediate Guitar Harmony", Eric Nemeyer on "Suggestions and Starting Points for Beginning Improvisers", and a "Repertoire Checklist - More Than 100 Essential Jazz and Standard Songs, Selected Repertoire For Jazz Lovers Who Listen and or Play" including albums on which performances of these songs may be found.
In March, an array of New England Conservatory alumni and faculty will be presenting performances throughout the New York area.
