Ian Siegal + Very Special Guest, Charlotte Street Blues,London, April 24

April 24, Charlotte Street Blues, London A Special Solo Show with a Very Special Guest

With the MOJO accolade of Best Blues Album of 2009 tucked firmly in his snakeskin belt, Ian Siegal returns to Charlotte Street Blues for a solo show. His latest and fourth album (BROADSIDE) has also garnered high praise in the USA – “one of the most enjoyable and accessible releases of the past year” according to Blues Revue.

Described by MOJO as “the cleverest writer and most magnetic performer of Blues in the UK,” Siegal takes command of the stage in a way very few artists alive today can match. Sweat, passion, humour, balls-to-the-wind slide guitar and a soul-infused voice big enough to fell trees!

Ian will be doing a solo show at Charlotte Street Blues on Saturday, April 24. Appearing with Ian will be a very special guest, the legendary but rarely seen, Lyin' Dave. Early ticket reservations recommended.

LYIN' DAVE TO MAKE HISTORIC APPEARANCE IN LONDON, APRIL 24

Lyin’ Dave claims to have written many of the best known blues songs of the past 50 years without ever being credited. When the iconic British bands of the sixties were emerging it was Lyin’ Dave that they called upon for their blues-influenced songs. He’ll tell you that some of the early Rolling Stones songs have his trademark songwriting skills. In fact Lyin’ Dave is a living legend! At long last the publicity shy hermit has decided to end his 60 year hibernation and put the record straight. He will be the special guest of notable British Bluesman, Ian Siegal, at Charlotte Street Blues on April 24. He calls it a kind of deathbed confession (but he aint dyin’ yet!).

Early ticket reservations are strongly recommended.
